Crispy Fried Shallots



I made this crispy fried shallots because I have heard too much rumor about how they made the store-bought shallots very crispy. Even it was on TV, said they put plastics into hot oil. Urgh...

I always make my own crispy fried onion too. I think they taste fresher, you don't have a stale taste from the oil like the store bought fried onion. The most important to me is I know what I put in the food I cook.

Same here Jenny, the news on TV here scared me. About formaline ( dead body preservative agent )used in food such as tofu, fruits, salted fish, etc and now plastic in fritters and crispy food.
